is this a straight forward fit and connection and easy set up? ill be using the vespatronic, ac only so it comes with a temp sensor for water cooled or plug temp sensor, so how does this work then and what benchmark to you set out to achieve, surely this cannot be a constant in any way as the different heat ranges of plugs get rid of the extra heat which ultimately will change the working temp, and how does it fit to the plug? if over the underside of the plug does it foul anythin and also is it ok to just effectively space out the plug and add and extra thing to go wrong if it blows by i take it this sensor will need a wire running up to the rev counter itself?

I bought my yellow vespa with a SIP 1 speedo fitted so I don't know how easy it was to fit but the instructions are pretty good. The temp sensor is a cable that plugs into the speedo control box, The wire runs to the sparkplug and on the end is a circle of metal that fits between the top of the threads and the engine head- you pass the electrode end of the plug into the circle then screw the spark plug into the head. I've no idea how accurate it is but it's consistent.

The plug ring can be tricky to fit... and does not fit on all heads as there isnt room ,if fitting under the plug is possible you need to remove the squash washer from the plug as the ring replaces that.
Temperature wise; Ive fittd mine to cylinder head stud because ive had too, scooters just been dynoed so all good and whilst using head stud is not ideal I am still getting reliable temperatures displayed but a lesser value than using the plug ring as studs dont get as hot.
