Would a cylinder kit from a 2 port p150x fit onto my GL150?
Same stroke 57mm, both 2 port, obviously p150x has a bore of 57.8mm std and GL is 57mm std, but my GL has had oversized kit anyway as is currently 58.2mm! Compression ratio 8.2 on the p150x and 7.2 on the GL but is that just head profile? Mine needs a new oversized piston as cylinder is ok but been offered a p150x kit for same price.
Just not sure about port heights/timings etc

there are some good 2 port kits for the gl, but the p150 barrel and head should fit, unles you have the early gl which is i think is piston ported, the port timings on the px barrel will most likely be a little more than the gl, does the p150x barrel not have a piston controlled boost port at the rear of of the cylinder? you will probably have to retard timing a bit as well as the p150x and the px150e do differ as the former needs 21 degrees and the later 18 degrees, get squish to 1.2mm-1.3mm if you can
