Yo!
Some stuff (right section now)
Managed to get a UK '68 Primavera : ) Looking for some original parts (steering lock, side panel door lock / key, rear lens, headlight rim, ) The chap bought it from is a top chap and will help me look. But I'm interested if there are good sources our there for original parts.
Would the right seat cover be the one with printed Piaggeo logo or the one with the A.Rejna badge like the SS90?
Also looking for an original owners manual.
Last one - other that the Piaggeo logo, are there any stamps that denote original parts (i'm more used to lambrettas)
Cheers
Appreciate your help.

i think you`ll find that the standard seat has the Piaggio logo. just the bog standard seat. the owners manual is a bit of a rare beast now as they are 40 to 50 years old.
the rest of the stuff seems to be made using the same tooling the Indian parts seem to be just as cheaply made as the original parts. things like steering lock, panel locks etc. i think if it fits it will do the job
for genuine Italian parts it seems to be a case of the vespa badge with Italy underneath it or just Piaggio.

1 seat what tz said , 2 engine door dont have a lock but a catch , easily available on ebay/ve uk 3 rear light lenses on most of them are seim ,available easily 4 steering lock should be the 32mm long with 4mm wide shoulder ,OEM are nieman or nada brand , piaggio switched around .an theres a chance the pressed in lock housing is different too . if covers swinging an 1 rivet fixing its the shorter lock 31.5/32mm . if covers fixed an 2 rivet fitting its the 39mm lock you need . 5 they didnt come with a headlight rim as stock , its a add on . 6 owners manuals do pop up on ebay an facebook occasionally ,but arent cheap , or go to scooterhelp.com an download it an print of a facsimile. 7 just coz its got a piaggio logo dont mean its genuine ,if its pre 66 ish the logo's square an there def genuine as those parts for smallframes werent remade much . in 67 piaggio re-branded to a hex badge logo , but later licensed production out to other countrys ,an sold tooling , so just coz its got a piaggio logo dont mean its ever touched italian soil .H
