got on with this one ,an wired it up with a home built loom ,cabled it up an started to bleed up front brake . IMG_1016 by henri briggs, on Flickr . had to go drop a lammy engine out for a mate ,so stopped bleeding brakes an nipped up the bleed nipple ,for it too promptly shear off . so when back got on with making a mount for the gps speedo in a old speedo body . IMG_1020 by henri briggs, on Flickr . then got on with the trial fitting of the tank to work out the mounts . IMG_1019 by henri briggs, on Flickr . only to discover the steel bar i was going to use is in such a "safe place" i cant find it ,so will have to go get more this week .H

its a constant an i know better , but rpm 4 pot calipers from aliexpress are £11 an 9 postage , stage6 ones which are identical a lot lot more .an i know to swap out the nipples but didnt this time , more laziness than age TZ , i'll pay for it later . an yes i get the systems primed by bleeding normal direction , then get my pressure bleeder attached to nipple an a syringe to remove fluid from top to finish the job . I pump all the fluid from the bottom no time spent on bleeding its all done in one go but i have pumped the fluid in a bit fast and ended up with the fluid spraying out pf the top pot and all over the head set a bit messy its not too bad with dot 5 as that seems less agressive pn the paint

when you no space for a filter really ,ya have to adapt one . IMG_1041 by henri briggs, on Flickr . take a pancake filter an foam from a pit bike pod filter an mix up the 2 IMG_1043 by henri briggs, on Flickr . fray the ends of mesh where its been cut ,a dab of evo-stick an there ya go . IMG_1044 by henri briggs, on Flickr . make up a horn bracket an fit it , an wiggle filter into place an thats this one pretty much done n dusted .just wait for paint to harden on tank mounts an then fit tank to do now .H IMG_1050 by henri briggs, on Flickr

I dont think evostick and petrol get on together, i used bicarb soda and super glue to glue my filter together

I fear that filter will give you a headache. Usually there is a plume of vapour lingering behimd the carb at least on some part of the rev range. If the foam element is too close, it will get wet with fuel and cause momentary overly rich mix when throttle is opened more. It will go away when the engine is pinned hard but will get wet again and again.

Mate I love this street racer you are building. I am doing a racer myself but are unsure how much to cut off the body. I see you are holding the side covers on with bolts. clever. Please add more photos. What headset are you using? I am considering drop bars from Worb5 in Germany but 600 pounds... please more pics of the build. W
