Evening. I've got the engine out of my 50r and I am waiting on a stand to test it before refitting. Just wanted some pointers on stopping the engine once it's running. Also is there a thing to be wary of when testing on the stand?
Cheers

Stopping is easy - just put your hand over the carb intake and it will die. Much better than trying to pull the spark plug lead off....that also works but you get to do a little dance as well. And not good if you have a pacemaker 🙂

Cheers guys. Ill definitely look to weigh the stand, hadn't considered that at all.
Thoughts on running an extension on the wiring to connect to the scooter? I was hoping that this way I could check everything electric at the same time.
