Hi Been looking at pwk carbs... How are they for setting up compared to delorto? I'm lookin at different set ups and saw pollini Evo cylinder and they suggested the pwk pollini carb £80.. When I just typed pwk £30.. Quite a difference in price will they be the same carb ..

the £30 carb is a clone , the bodys an slides are good but i dont trust the jets supplied . i use them ,but swap all jets out for keihin genuine ,by the time youve done that there around £45-50 . compared to a genuine keihin at nearer £200 an over 100 2nd hand there good . not used a polini much ,had 1 engine with one an it seemed ok , but been told they have only 1 atomiser size ,an saw that theres not much choice or info on needles .ive stuck with keihins an there clones ,oko/pwk/etc , as theres a kyajet web site that has all the info for jetting an also a needle program, you stick in what youve got an how it is ,an it spits out the codes for what you need .H

I'm using a PWK28 on my long-sidelined Polini130/PM40 project engine but still haven't got it jetted right. Not that I've tried for a few years as it's been in storage.
Not sure whether to take it to a local dyno rather than piss about with it for hours annoying my neighbours, there's a guy near me who specialises in 2 stroke jetting
This is how it sounded in 2014 the last time it was run...! Seemed to be running way rich but was only a 40 idle
