a mate of mine has just bought a frame and a load of bits the frame doesnt have the choke in the usual place ie next to the petrol tap it has it located under the seat it also uses a bellows system similar to the frame breathing series one lammie we cant seem to find the frame number it came with messerschmit panels which are louvered any ideas at all will try and get some pics up of it cheers

Well, since you mentioned Messerschmit possibley a German model. Does it look like a GS i.e. - curved floorboards etc rather than flat? Maybe an Ausberg (?, think that's what they're called) or maybe some other countries version.
First stop as usual will be Scooterhelp if you can find a serial number.

if it is an Augsburg, it should have the German VIN just short of the RH engine Bolt on the RH floor board.
does it have a lid where the carb would sit on a smallframe? This is where italian wideframes used to have the VIN or check just below the LH side panel in the rear half (on the sill).
And pls send / post pictures *curious*
