I would steer well clear of that, apart from the fact that smallies were not around in 1959 it just doesn't look right.

They're not really my thing although I can see the appeal , just don't like the dummy tanks. Just thought if genuine it would be a good price for someone. It would help if he listed VIN & engine number , I have seen a few coming back from New Zealand over the last year so may be genuine ? Maybe its a replica done over there.

Still seems dodgy to me but I'm always wary, although he has it on ebay as a moped dvla do have it registered as 90 and 1959 as year of manufacture. Not sure how you would go about insuring that, hellos sir, what model is your scooter, and what year, oh 1959, we don't seem to have anything to match that.

God knows what happened in the registration process in the past, my Motovespa super was registered in the UK as a V90 in 1977, quite why, I don't know, it is 'technically' a primavera, so why it wasn't registered as such.....

DVLA are staffed by idots and we all know that. thats why 98% of vespas are registerd as a "vespa douglas" douglas motorcycles uk were only a vespa importer fo a few years and never had there own spec for any vespa model. DVLA are idiots

Spanish supers don;t come up on any register, found that out when trying to insure my old one, think I insured it as a primmy in the end or maybe even just a vespa 125 so it reflected the correct cc
