Went for over a bag of sand in the end. The pk world has gone stupid Leon. Ridiculous price. I've seen some mental prices realised for smallies generally lately. But pk's were always a very long way behind.

a grand for a scoot thats been garaged for years ,an a pk at that . agree dazzz half of that would of been the norm last year ,things have been going nuts this year .even cosa's are fetching a grand now ,you could hardly give them away a few years ago. lets see if buyer pays up or scoot gets relisted . seen a few that sell around the £600 mark get relisted, I reckon by the seller rather than the buyer as they didn't get as much as they hoped for. Personally £1k for a decent PK 125 with MOT is fair imho, some people are just asking silly prices for primmies now but there are still some bargains out there. Anyone want to buy an original patina beige 100 sport for £2000 lol

Yeah a lad on FB recently asked for value of his PK 50 with Malossi 135 kit on and the consensus was around a grand. I thought this one would go for about 5-600 max, 800 if there were two giddy bidders.

admittedly the primmy does look better but I have an ets and it handles great (when it's actually running) and for a tall chap like me means I don;t look quite so "odd" on it. PKs are only going to go up in value, and you have the added advantage of not having to wave your arms about to turn a corner, which for a lot of younger folk this is a bonus. better brakes too.

I would have gladly had a PK when I was looking for a scooter this time last year, I just happened on my Primmy via a mate of a mate. My first scooter was a '83 PK50, and I think a nice early one is more attractive than they're given credit for.

To be honest I love mine now. But it wasn't always like that.
My wife bought it for me about 15 years ago. At the time and later I also had a px and a Lammy Li plus a Bergmann 400 for commuting and a Honda Bros 400 for fun, oh and an et4 rat bike. Other than tootling around the local area and getting the mot it stayed in the shed. In fact it never moved for nearly yen years.
Pulled it out and started work on it again 18 months ago and have fallen in love with it. Good brakes, nippy, reliable and great fun to ride.

aah a fellow "bros" rider , nice little bikes, loved mine , til a toerag knicked it . its a "2 camps thing" , the pk's (piaggio kompact) beats primmys on brakes/forks/ignition/etc , but unless your a fan of 80's block styling (px's come to mind) .the primm n v range just win hands down on style/curves an just general beauty .H

Only a mother could love its looks... Brought a few Bros parts off a fella in Brighton about ten years ago. Not you was it H? Had a lock up business round a back Street toward Hove I think.

H They were called something more manly and aggressive like Bloodaxe or Nighthawk or something in America, where I understand they raced them too. Much more befitting of such a bike..

Pk's are great and under rated by most in the looks dept , which is perfect for those who like them as you can get one a lot cheaper than earlier small frames , I like the indicators as it saves you having to use your big toe to let those behind you know what your doing .
