As i got an unexpected day off work today i deceided to get cracked on with this. Rubbed it down and put 2 coats of barcoat on. You use the barcoat straight from the tin and its like piss. But it goes on really good. And all primed up with high build 2k primer. On another note we had lots of this- Cant remember the last time i saw lambs in the snow.

So thought I’d update this thread as it’s a long time since I did anything to the poor 90. Finally got round to finishing the paintwork off. It’s a gun metal grey metallic. In a semi gloss finish.

Paints come out pretty good. It’s only going to be used as next years work hack so it’s not a show stopper. Now to put it back together once I’ve found a front hub.

I’m abit 50/50 with the colour tbh. It’ll probably grow on me tho as I put everything together.

No steve it hasn’t been blasted. After the primer reacted with the red lead it was sanded smooth,2 coats of isolator, then afew coats of high build primer. Flatted back and then 4 coats of the gunmetal. It’s far from perfect but will do for a work hack.
