I wonder if any of you experts could help, ive bought a px125 basically for more everyday use as my et3 is more for nice days. I must say that the ride isnt as much fun as my smallframe and although it isnt slow it isnt particularly quick either. I want a stainless sports exhaust and eventually renew the piston and barrel. what kit would you recomend for reliability and what is the maximum cc i can go up to without having to replace all the bottom end. Ideally I would like to leave the crank, gearing and clutch as it is and just replace the piston and barrel. Any help you can give would be much appreciated, cheers Daz

The best compromise is a Polini cylinder, 177cc, if you set it well will perform nearly like a 200 even p'n'p and keeping standard carb and exhaust, just a change of jet and timing could do the trick and it's a pretty reliable configuration. The DR, also 177cc is somewhat useless as it gives only a bit more torque but no real gain at top end. Very reliable though.

the 177 and 180 kits are realiable and cheap and do give a little more performance ,,,The malossi 166 is a good bolt on ..it more expensive but even better performance , which ever way you go try and source a p200 carb 24mm and a different pipe and thatll do the job .....at a reasonble price ..

Yep get the mollossi and tune further, match cases to cylinder, get a better carb 28mm and match inlet, better exhaust something like PM or JL and again match exhaust on cylinder to exhaust and jobs a goodun.
