Hello, I have had massive issues with my clutch cover fitting as my other post in technical issue would show. I tried absolutely everything to fit my new Newfren 4 cork sport clutch but nothing would work. I tried my old spring, tried some new thicker 3 plate original friction plates on the Newfren inner basket but nothing would work. well I eventually ordered a genuine Piaggio inner basket and rebuilt my clutch, am now back to 3 cork plates as standard. The new Piaggio one was identical to the original and the Newfren was quite different. The shape at the bottom was different resulting in clutch sitting higher and the notches where the locking circlip sits was also higher. Below are some pics. Newfren on the left, Piaggio on the right.

Yatesy88 are you sure you got these the right way round? Im looking at ordering one from sip but from the pics on their site it looks like the piaggio one is the one on the left in your pic.

Gareth, one thing I learnt from the mass of orders I did was don't trust the product photo on sip or scootershop. They often just use a stock photo for many different producers same item and I think that was the case with the inner basket. They are all the same pic but different brands. Newfren definitely on the left. Cheers
