Just got one of those seats for my PK - they make SUCH a difference to the look of the bike. What do you think to the chequerplate fixing at the back? How did you fix the pad? I've gone for the velcro option as suggested by Ozoap.

Hi jim.....I actually drilled a couple of holes and bolted it to the base...As for the base plate ive had to space underneath the plate to raise it and so the seat pins dont hit the tank ... Bit o faffing about but seems ok.....And ive jacked up the base itself so it doesnt touch any of the frame .......Bit gutted cos i could only get 1 sort of seat pad and it was £63 ish ....f2';/'k ! Cant really moan about the price CAN I But im am happy with it ....

Yeah, not sure why it's a different fixing to a v series... not too bothered about the nuts hitting the tank as it's only a matt blacker - can see why you'd not want that though - paint is lush!
can't believe the pad is more than the seat base...!!!!
Thing is there's nothing comes close to it looks wise for the PK, one mono seat or a yankee. I was tempted to try and make a snetterton fit. Then gave in.

How did it do then mate??? was it more than 25Hp or are you disapointed?? In my mind, its all about how it performs on the road anyway, not what a machine tells you it can do

Hiya shane .......Yep alls pretty amazing ......put it this way it wont be up for sale , well not quite yet ! ;D 27.4 bhp with 16lbt ....that was the first run out the van ... Then after adjusting the timing making a custom needle and a little fettling 29.2 bhp with the same toque.... ;D ;D ;D Sounds so much more crisper and i took her round the block and WOW or F***K me its even stupider ....very rideable and cant wait to have some fun .....It wasnt a quick fix though Jerry (REEDSPEED) spent around 4 hrs plus on it , He setup me 225 watercooled malossi a while ago ...the guy nows his ONIONS........ Let me know when you get your jets through dude ....
