done them myself. wallpaper template (cardboards gone up in value) then just kept offering them up and playing with the angle grinder. hell of a lot cheaper!

12v lights so i run them straight off the rear light so they switch on and off with the lights. 3mm plate

i recently set up a similar LED light thingy and also run them off the rear light. But i put a switch inline with the live wire of the LED's so i could switch my lights on and then also choose whether i wanted the LED's on or off. I'll upload a picture on how i done it for anyone that is interested

This drawing doesn't include the wiring for the brake light so it is just basic. This may not be the same wiring setup as everyone else but this is how it is for me and it works.

nice one Tony, is it a light up switch as well? unfortunately no but i'm pretty sure a light up switch would be wired up the same way. I have just used an on/off toggle switch for now. Need better LED's as the wires have broken off my cheap Halfords ones :/

Maplin's do led strip lights which are pretty decent. Specially designed to be weather proof
