Will a koso 30mm work on an M1L...? and which crank would be good for it?
I´d rather purchase a slightly bigger carb so I wont be forced to upgrade it when/if I want some more power. Like M1r porting or similar.
This is definitely advanced dreaming for now anyway but for Autumn maybe ;D

I have a 28/30mm oval PWK copy on my M1L (not koso but similar) I don't have anything to compare it with, but I'm satisfied with it.
can I but stuff directly from zadra, or who else sells their cranks. I want a 87mm for mine, but still haven made up my mint about the long stroke thing.

I think you can buy direct from Zadra but it probaby means a Bank transfer. Isn't Terry doing Zadra parts now?

Why weld the pin? Is this an extra lock after one has trued the crank? Or just for safety?

Or just for safety? yeah, to stop the crank twisting... i opted for a couple of little runs of tig on each side of the pin;

My plan was to take my polini 130, worb5 crank 19mm! dellorto25mm reed and polini evo exhaust Put this on my 50 special (if the seller make his mind up) Then build an M1L engine whit my new build gearbox koso 30mm vsp race new crank The trouble is that I unfortunately bought a 19mm vespatronic ignition for my first setup...st*pid f**ker Don't feel promising to ride m1l and 19mm. Would have been great to somehow machine/lathe the flywheel cone to fit a bigger crank. If I have to buy another ignition the budget will be blown away by far, and if I'm suppose to build a proper engine I don't want to cheat and go 19mm or run whit breakers. Noodles 7days a week until Christmas, great!
