Just wondering, would I have to drop the engine to replace the drive side oil seal on a px125?

yes and you would need to split the cases as the seal is on the inside of the crankcase closest to the crank and don't be tempted to knock it through with the bearing as there is a circlip holding the bearing in(between the seal and bearing)
i think i may of done this with the engine in the frame by having the scooter raised up and dropping the rear suspension

NO you dont mate..... i always do though... you will make a better job of it once youve removed your top end you can remove your clutch, flywheel and stator and then unbolt/split your flywheel side case from the main engine block which can still be bolted in place to the frame... top end removel with engine insitu is far easier on your 125 than on a 200cc......

Col is correct... i once changed drive main and seal for a Kegra customer while he waited. In fact he didnt even know I did it. The bike was brand new and I noticed it had dropped a seal when it came in for its first service which was basically an oil change and check over if it went out from Kegra... So the guy had a coffee.. and i think I did it in about 45 mins.
