I've been having the luck of the gods when I phone up lateley, couple of rings and straight through to mr Beed himself. Only complaint is when I ask them the following
"whats the quality like on this part, is it good?"
I get "Yeah really good"
Then when my little bits arrive in the post, it looks like the bits from the Christmas Crackers that no-one wanted to keep. Then I find the original one I had that is caked in grime, spend a few hours cleaning it up and wish I hadnt ordered a new one!

yeah the quality of parts is a bit hit and miss from Beedies, but to be fair most dealers are the same these days. One of the best bits of advice I was ever given about scootering was 'never chuck anything away' So I've always kept all manner of bits and bobs from various rebuilds and when a mate would be under taking such a thing- I would turn up and in a 'stig of the dump' type fashion, blag all the little bits and bobs they choose to replace with ' quality new parts' sadly this only applies to my Lammy bits and not smallie ones ( wish I had though )

Oh dear, no, no, no, don't do it - I've got to get my two penneth in about Beedspeed. I stopped using them over ten years ago - they even sent lambretta parts for my smallframe once. About three weeks ago a mate used them (I was rebuilding his engine) and guess what? They kept sending the wrong parts. Even when we told them the thread dia. and pitch they sent the same wrong flywheel nut. As stated, they are very fast - perhaps they do not have time to look at what they are putting in the jiffy bag.

Never really had a problem, ordered some bits and bobs last Friday about 12, postman delivered next morning. I know that doesn't help your order, have you tried emailing.

I am going to give them a ring tonight and see whats going on, maybe the order didnt place, I went for the paypal option as shipping needed to be calculated.
A work mate is heading over to England tomorrow so it would be quicker for him to buy the parts then bring them back in a couple weeks time. Plus I dont have to pay huge postage prices if I do that.

always have problems when paying via paypal, have at least 3 orders that have been lost in the interweb. tend to find the quality of parts quite bad, especially T5 and Smallframe bits, I try and shop around as much as possible now and will generally only use beedspeed as a last resort. quick and friendly service is good but doesn't mean shit if the product is a piece of wank when it arrives.

Just ordered over £100 worth of stuff and not too impressed with the quality. This is my first order as a new customer and I thought they could have done better! They didn't send me a mudguard I ordered, even though the dispatcher had ticked it off. Also got a 5 spoke front drum from fookin' India that looks like shit, the casting has hairline cracks all over it, covered in grime and looks like a second hand part. Not impressed at all. Only thing is they didn't charge me postage...

welcome to the world of ordering stuff from beedspeed. I have probably ordered 7 times from them and each time been disappointed and/or had wrong bits sent. And like a fool I keep going back for more. Its the relaxed confidence that oozes from the phone as you order, nice guys with a tone of voice that implies: "relax, I totally know which bit you're after and I understand that its specific to that model and year, I'm familiar with that yes. Oh and sure its original quality, just like the factory item, no need for modification it'll all just line up and work" It fools me and tricks me then promptly delivers a parcel of flimsy wrongly aligned tat, often for a different model of scoot, never up to original quality. Leaving me feeling cheated, hurt and just a little bit dirty. On a more positive note Steve (username me) orders from SIP and other suppliers frequently to his tax-haven in Jersey and can probably get you any further items you want at a more reasonable price. (think he is still offering this service)

i just ordered some fork race bearings and cups. 3 emails in a day to say order received, order packed, order despatched, and arrived next day, superb once again and ordered online, however i always pay with card and not paypal as this can cause delays.

been dealing with them for years and the last 3 orders I have placed have turned up wrong, or with missing or crap quality parts... final straw was the brake pads they sent which actually broke taking them out the packet... the actual pad came away from the metal plate...... and the axle I ordered is rusty.... service was bad too, I ordered by the web and paid by card, and 4 days later got an email saying I hadn't paid via paypal!!!! phoned them up, (task in itself) and was told it was cos I had selected paypal... but they had recieved my money by card!!! 3 days later I got the stuff, which was 2 days after my stuff from germany ordered at the same time came

My experience with Beedspeed is split - in most cases I've got good service and right parts (but I mostly find out what I need up front), but I've also experienced to get badly packed parts and even parts that looked used!
I suspect a lot of the parts come from the asian marked, many items not even close to original standard.
My definitive choice for scooter spares is without a doubt SIP. They are more expensive, but have a much better webshop and stock than Beedspeed.
