I found yesterday that you can download an album at a time from Photobucket, it zips up the content, so that's quite handy. You can then see in the 'edit post' option what filename is being referenced & match that with an image. Uploading them to IMGUR is easy, but it's a very manual task to edit your old posts & alter the link. On IMGUR you'll need to use 'Get Share Links' option on each image to get the BBCode. Oh, and be sure to close your Photobucket account and tell them what a bunch of wankers they are:  |

With your mouse pointer over the picture you'll see the http URL, a copy button then a little 'V' down arrow, from that arrow drop-down you'll find 'get share links'.
Assuming you're on a pc, i've not tried it on a phone yet.

i use a free program called faststone image viewer to edit my photos to about 800 pixels wide before i upload them this means that i can load them quicker and they fit into the posts at a nice size |

Just deleted my photos off Photobucket and deleted my account. I know thats ruined all my threads on here but I was never going to have the time to switch the photo links to an alternative. What a bunch of cunts eh?

i did a recent search and found that the photbucket numbers are down (members and page hits)10% in the last year
it seems that they have failed to learn the lesson of other internet sites from the past.
ie if you treat the users like idiots they leave in droves and never come back
