Hei guys, going crazy with the type of bearings to use with a ETS engine, im getting to mutch vibration from it. So im gessing its the bearings (or the crank... but thats brand new?). Anyone has any numbers for the type of bearings on a ETS? Im using the split Torrington and the 6303 C Explorer on the clutch side. Maybe I need more tollerance on the clutch side like a C4 or something? And the Torrington bearings have a lot of play, even new from the packet... I dont know guys i'm considering having the crank checked.
Any help will be greatly apreciated!
Cheers.

the c3 bearing has more play than the standard bearing till it gets hot enough to expand i think more tollerance would give you more vibes the standard bearings are apparently good for about 19000 rpm

Ive split the cases and the clutch side bearing is allready a bit busted from the vibrations, etc.. Ill keep experimenting till i found out whats the solution Cheers jonnysnatchsniffer

I don't see how you can have that much play in the fly-side bearing... It's the same bearing that all P2's use, so it's not like you are on new and unknown grounds...
you have the inner ring on...?

Anyway back to the bearings supplier and get a new set. Cheers unreliablesc
