Anyone got a primmy headset? Decided I'm not going to install indicators on my V100 Sport project so V100 headset with all its switches is overkill...

I think the V90 looks better anyways! That's what I used on my last scoot, and will prolly do the same on the Primmy I just bought.

Hmm yeah, would it look weird/wrong on a V100 Sport frame though? Are people going to laugh at me?

Bugger, one went for £16 quid last Saturday on ebay.
I reckon a V90 headset would look ok, after all you not going to use the indicators so your not going strictly original

I do like the circular speedos though... think they look more "smallie" than the shell-shape ones. Vesparob you have a PM, and barneystgeorge i might be able to offer you the V100 sport headset soonish

I don't see why it would look weird? What's the difference between a V90 and a 100 sport? Only differences I see are the battery door, and reflectors on the mudguard. You're not using the signals, so you're good there. What tail light are you using? If you have an American 100 Sport, then you have that ugly huge taillight thingy. Get rid of that thing and use a V90 one as well.

All i know is it's rock solid and straight and you're right - i haven't worried about keeping the engine original so I shouldn't worry about using the "wrong" headset...

The gearing numbers on the headset will be different, V90 will only have 3 and the primmy should have 4. Paid over £100 for my Nuova headset, no lens or speedo But sold my V90 for £70 complete with lens and speedo.

Jimmy
I have a V90 one 3 speed which is the same as V100 (not the sport) I bought it when I thought I might do a disk conversion but have abandoned that idea...
let me know if you want to have a look at it and I'll bring it home as its kicking round my desk at work at the mo..

Nick Nick, I've already bought the pretty red one as seen above, but thanks Glad to hear i'm not the only one extending my scooter part storage to my desk at work, though... MD had a quiet word about it recently.
