Starting my 1971 Vespa 90 reg as a 50 project, has V5 and will have MOT.
I'm renewing almost everything and having the scooter sandblasted and a professional paint job. By that I mean a guy that sprays cars/scooters for a living is doing it.
It will come with either a V100 sport engine or a V90, but will still be registered as a 50cc. So far these are the new parts I've already bought.
Mudguard (Beedspeed) Engine door (Beedspeed) Front hub (Beedspeed) Front shock (Beedspeed) Front hub assembly (Beedspeed) Cables (Beedspeed) Bearings for forks (Beedspeed) Runners (Beedspeed) Trim (Woolies car trim) Grips (anywhere) Loom (12V) (Beedspeed) Lightened flywheel + electronic stator + switch and 12 Volt conversion (Beedspeed) Break shoes Front and back (Beedspeed) Number plate and holder (Beedspeed) Horn + Gasket (Beedspeed) Under seat box (Beedspeed) Levers (Beedspeed)
These are the original parts: Frame Head set (Original) Back Shock (Original) Seat recover (Unknown as yet) Rims + tyres (Original) Speedo (original) V100 S or V90 engine
Sand blasting (all original parts) Paint work (white with a red, white and blue stripe down the front legshields). Hubs, rims and trim light blue Forks white.
So I'm rebuilding this to put another old scooter back on the road and just looking to get my money back. Do you guys think I'll get around £1500 as that's pretty much what it will cost me.
Any advice would be most appreciated
Cheers Rich

Got a Kawasaki 350 engine to fit lol. Was already cut into the frame and I forgot to bloody remove it and get the hole welded up and the guy doing the spraying just took it off sprayed it and put it back on. Gonna tidy up the hole with a dremmel and just leave it on. Just got a V100 engine with 4 gears and a 130 kit to go in her.
