I'm getting a fucked 213 barrel for next to nothing and I fancy playing about with it.
I know it'll never be great choice for big horses but I'm wondering about piston alternatives, whether it's worth opening up the exhaust port etc and maybe having it ceramic lined or just have it re-nicasiled?
Options and opinions please.

Nice work Roo. I held off on replying as someone else claimed the barrel before me but has now backed out of the deal.
I presume this work has been with the standard piston? How's it holding up?

Hi, Ive been reading all the forums about the pinasco. There seems to be some problems with the head they supply in the kit, also Ive read of many different ways of getting the 60mm crank setup right. So Roo, could you share your secrets and clear this once for all. What is the right way to setup a pinasco with 60mm crank. What kind of packers to use? Pinasco head? Anything particular to think of?
When you say plug n play, do you mean bolt on top end as its delivered and thats it?

Yeah, go with a Polini instead. Cheaper, perform much better and reliable with the twin ring piston.
