My 1984 PK 125 Automatica finally hits the road.

After almost 6 months of waiting for my mechanic to clean the carb, Ramon starts on the first kick and tears up the road. An amazing little scoot. Gonna go just a little bit further with the gray/red two-tone treatment and will be touching him up here and there. Will post pics as that evolves:

Thanks Charlie. So you wouldn't add any more red to it? I see you have a 136 malossi kit on your PK. How do u like it and what top speed are getting with it?

The Malossi kit does not fit your engine. As far as I know there isn't a kit available for the 125 automatica.

Yeah, it won't fit, at least not without work anyway. I remember a thread on GSF a year or 2 back where a lad reworked a Polini for one but I'd be buggered if I could find it again.

Given the extremely limited spares for these I'd totally discount putting any more stress on the motor myself.

I fully subscribe to that. It may even be a good idea to keep your eyes open already for a spare engine just for the pieces.
