adam, have you sorted studs for the kit? Are they px125 ones? When Im doing a 'racy' Px125 or Smallframe engine I always convert to 8mm studs.

But to get the angles you end up having to "o" ring the studs which i have to do with the fabrizi. The falc has been cast very near the limit with 7mm studs and converting to 8 will eat into the secondaries. Shame cos 7x1mm is a rubbish thread as you know!

hi mate. sorry. If you convert to 8mm studs you sometimes need to drill the barrel to 8.5 mm or so to clear the stud. What can happen is you can break into the secondary transfers. If you wish to change the secondary angle in the horizontal plane or just the size of the port you run the risk of beaking through. To seal the hole you can fit o-rings to the barrel stud. I don't like doing it on road motors but a race one which is apart a lot is normally ok. The Falc is cast with a lump in the secondaries which disrupts the flow but its been done to try to get the port area on such a large cc. It would be a lot nicer to use studs like a v50 and a shame this wasn't done. hope that helps.

Got it, Thanks!
Yeah, i don't see why they don't use v50 type studs on lager barrels, as they do it on crossers etc.

Btw, can one use whatever make of exhaust with the Falc cylinder or are the studs, etc... special so you have to use a Falc exhaust?

I think the studs are the same but the science bit comes into play with them being a bit mental.I like the look of the Scooter and Service version.

I can see the one you mean, really nice one. But that looks like its made the same way than the original exhaust to give max power at 9500+ rpms, im trying to get the power band of the Falc a bit lower, maybe at 8000. Just to bring the insanity a bit down

Yep, going to terrorize the streets this summer ;D But it would be nice to make it a "bit" less mental, so people dont start looking at me with a "what the hell is making so mutch noise" face going through Karl Johans....
