Adspeed, what carb are you using and what's the specs for the setup?? I'm using a VHSB 34, min 43, max 168, needle k24 and 40 slider, but its running like rubish, specially in the lower medium range. Its the minimun that Lauro recommends for the setup, but not working for me and i dont dare to take it any lower.

Not a chance to get that done in Norway.... allthough it sounds like a very exact method to adjust carb. I'm going out now to buy some needles and a smaller min jet, have to give it a try. Btw, whats your progress? The pics you posted looked very cool!

Im only using a sleeve down manifold rubber to run a flatty 30 dellorto.....ive chopped the manifold turned it around ,rewelded it and have the carb sitting outside the panel ...purely ease of access oh and it looks trick ;D ...I can hear you say why a 30mm .....Im trying the 30 just to see hat its going to be like on the road .....BUT will deffinitly have a go with a bigger f***er........to see what im missing ........

ok, 30mm hanging out, must be a real pleasure jetting... Since my own project-budget already has gone totally berserk, I'm thinking why not go 38mm VHSB. But I'm worried it wont fit under the seat, and my fav shop SIP don't have anything bigger than the mikuni 35 TMX. So maybe its my destiny to go whit the 35tmx... and its probably a tiny bit smaller as well

are you going to mount a fan on the PVL? paul Yeh Paul the ignition comes with a modified parma fan to mount to rotar. How you doing Paul? Ya still with the smallframes or gone auto yet? hi, (sorry guys, im going to write about the scooting competion) im racing a skipper with a runner engine at the moment. very easy to get good hp out of, but very boring to race and ugly)- especially on a big track. got it gps speed at 144kph on back straight on the track without an upgear kit. im sure it will go faster as well. but last race day i had a go on my mates well setup race ts1, and i think i might give a lammy a go, its a lot more fun having a power band and gears. ive scored a set of 200 cases, now im considering this- tinyurl.com/csk9wm200cc, rav power valve, 61 stroke, 40-50hp at the crank at 8-9000rpm, even the spigot seems to fit the lammy spigot hole. its a very interesting project, will be getting two cylinders to start with soon (one spare, as they are cheap). yes, i did see that rotax skidoo cylinder on the lammy forum. ive been thinking about jet ski cylinders for a while as the local dyno tunes a lot of jet skis, and their cylinders looked cool. but when i saw that thread, i though that guy with the cylinder with the super long stroke rotax cylinder was crazy with all the work he has to do to fit that cylinder. this cylinder ive chosen is way easier. i will have to make a reed block mount into the case- but thats not as hard as fitting a giant cylinder and making a custom crank. how is you motocross conversion going? my smallframe is all welded up and repaired, but on hold. will turn it into a street hot rod when i get the chance. paul
