has anyone seen these new scooter lifts that are like the ones from the 60s & 70s www.omcrop.it they look very nice but the price is crazy 456 EUROs you can but some very nice motorcycle lifts for that much cash... but they are cool!!!!

I have one of those Omcrop scooter lifts, they are expensive but seriously worth their weight in gold if you do a lot of scooter rebuilds, mine has earnt it's money back 10 times over, highly recommended! Also, I prefer these sort of lifts to the "table" style ones because you can drop the engine and the forks with the frame still held. Here's mine in action Cheers, Rog

Hmm to be honest I can't see where the 450 plus euros goes on one of them. Looks like I'll be having a fiddle with the welder on the weekend to see what I can come up with.
I currently use Hydraulic hospital beds in my workshop.
They are pretty much just a bench with a footpump, but one good thing about em is that a section separates from the top so with an aftermarket clamp you can have the engine etc hanging off into space. All that and they only cost be the equivalent of 35 quid each. If youre looking for a cheap option they are well worth the effort.
