Thanks to Breezer and Juan I now have a scoot that is running sweet as a nut. The new 100 top end is on and there is no more failure to start after a run. I am made up ;D. So excited went for a run but forgot to connect back brake!! I will need to run new piston and rings in but what do you reckon? Will 100 miles do the trick? No full throttle but go up and down the rev range whilst running in. This make sense? Changing down gear is a real bitch too. I may need to work on the cable adjustment, but is the gear change as smooth as say a px200?? Cheers the noo Smithy.

I usually give a new set of rings at least 50 miles to bed in but with the new piston I'd up that to about 300 or so. Gear change shouldn't be noticably different than another Vesp.
