Been looking for a 19.19 carb for a couple of months now. Specifically been looking on ebay for a SHBC19.19e for a PK both here and abroad. SHC 19.19 for ET3 seem a lot more common. What's the difference between the two and can a SHB be used on a PK? thanks Rob

Yes either 19 can be used, they had different filters and some had a feed hole for oil injection, but either will work, also the pilot jets were different which are not interchangable but this will not effect to much

Yes, Emailed the guy to see if accepted any other from of payment other than paypal but he never got back to me. Would have gone more than what it went for.
Need to sort out a carb asap as scoot just cut out on me yesterday, ended up pushing it mile and a half home (what a way to spend a day's holiday) No fuel flow from tank, plug was nice chocolate colour (caramac not dairy milk) but dry.
Took fuel tank out tonight and it emptied fine through tap and pipe. Carb though was flooded in petrol even in air filter. Took it apart no gaskets or owt apart from filter. First time I've took it off, 16.10, with what look like 55 main jet although it was getting dark at the time.
Will try and get 19.19 and upgrade anyway cheers Rob

Sorry, just removed carb and I've got another stupid question bare with me I really am new to all this. When fitting carb, carb slides on to manifold, then flange comes from manifold side and slides over carb connection and you tightened clamp over end of flange. As I took the old carb off there didn't seem to be a gasket or anything, the carb seems to be made of soft metal so don't want to wreck anything as I refit. Are their no gaskets or owt, do you tighten clamp very gently? Hope this makes sense Rob

Cheers Hank, Looks like I've got most of the bits. I'll just take it easy at first tightening up the clamp. Just seemed strange when removing, once I'd loosened clamp slightly the carb came of real easy, I'd though it would be really tight.
