Hi All,
Just been lookin at repairing my leaky front brake hose and am having trouble getting folks to do it... they all say that I now need to replace my old style hose and banjo type setup for a new style moulded connectors... Problem with this is that the clamp is much wider than the hose and unless I cut a 1/4 inch hole in my forks I can't see how to feed the new type in!!!
Anyone know anyone local to york? or got the old style crimpers etc???

Get your leathers and tatty wig out and go to your local harley dealer - they were able to help me out (after some mutual abuse and mickey taking ;D)

NOwhere Bike wise, would entertain it in the end!!! Took it over to LSE (after they said they would be able to!!) but they couldn't in the end, advised I spoke to PIRTEK on clifton moor, real nice guy, would have done it for me there and then if we could have got the scoot through the doors and onto his bench.....
In the end we decided that was not the best idea and he gave me the brass bit I needed and told me to get my dremmel out when I get home... Simple as that aparently...
They do do quite a lot of braided hoses etc for bikes too for those after some locally..
