Hello, I have a PK50 xl2 that has the euro push and pull gear system. Basically it comprises of a single long solid rod (not cable) from the handle bar selector to gear box. I believe it was used mainly in Italy. I believe it was used in the cosa aswell. My question is are they normally hap-hazard gears when selecting or are they smooth. Never had one like it before and didnt realise it had it, until I checked for adjustment so unsure on how easy the gear change is. Can it be adjusted? At the moment its not bad but not good, sometimes it seems to get lost when changing to 3rd and 4th, say changing to 4th you can easily go past it. You do have to listen to the box engaging so as you know its in the correct gear.

They can be adjusted, have a look under the plastic cover under your engine, but it sounds like your box is worn?
