intresting..... i would like to know the 'rebuildability' of this rather than how it differs from a 2 stroke.
what do you guys think ? Will it be simple clutch and gears or a complicated mess that in years to come no one will know fuck all about, no shops will touch and spares consist of string and super glue ??

TBH mate I don't expect it'll be too bad. I think this is a tie in with PGO and their domestic markets dwarf any exports they make so I think it safe to assume that there will be large amounts of spares available and dealer back up.
Even here it won't be beyond any half decent spanner monkey given all auto's over 50cc tend to be 4 stroke anyway.

The answer to that will be along shortly,
Eddy Bullet, our local vespa dealer has already stripped a scooter down, engine in bits completely to address this sort of question.
He is looking for the prescence of timing marks, interchangeable parts etc.
That way there will be an answer about rebuilding before the need to rebuild arises. He is also looking at the quality of the materials used. We all know the chinese 4 strokes are crap!
