I already have my full licence - I just keep one L plate on the front, thats "L" for "Lover".... well not really
I'm sure that when/if they bring such a change in it will only apply to those new to it - ie never taken a cbt and with no prior riding experience. They couldnt take away rights that people have had for years could they?

You never know, this is the government we're talking about here... I'm guessing that even if they do pass this we won't actually see any of it filtering down to us for another year, though! CamRider does a 5 day course I was looking at for £598 so I'd be allowed a 33bhp for 2 years jobbie...

"The proposals are expected to be included in a consultation on new Europe-wide laws set to make it more difficult to gain a motorcycle licence from 2013."
What a load of shite! I sometimes miss living in Britain but am glad I don't have to put up with the Euro bollocks laws imposed on a system that already works.
Over here you must have the equivalent of a motorcycle licence to ride anything over 50cc, but at least the test only costs $77 which is about £48.
