24MM oko (JAP) powerjet. was running fine but been worked on by a mech i know cannot for the life of me get the details out of him what the hell he did to the carb. but its drowning

Just fixed the gearbox in this engine, but scot took off on it before we realised there was a problem with the carb. Spec is: Parma 130 rotary, mazz crank (as far as i can tell), unported casings, 24mm PWK copy with the power jet blocked off. The pipe seems to be a stainless knock off of a PM.
Going to check a few obvious things like the choke being stuck on when i get to see it again, or the needle being raised too far.
But what i really want to know is, wouldn't this kit be better suited to a fully ported casing a 30mm carb and a hammerzombie (real one) pipe?? ;D

I was called in to sort out the rest of the mess he left behind, gears in back to front and a massive oil leak.

have the cases not even been matched ? if not then get to it or ya might as well put it back to standard barrel, get the transfers as big as poss, a 30mm would be better not a copy if you can help it, i suppose it all boils down to what you wants it to do and how much money you wanna spend

in the first first 6 months i had it, and it worked i did manage to of the speedo a number of times even without matched ports. as well as an enormous difference in performance. oh an john i sent a email to sam for switch box and maybe for the 25 carb let me know what you think

just bought one! oko is gonna meet wall at high speed and get mailed back in small pieces to whence it came! It will be getting ported in the future once we ironed out the big fuck ups thanks for the advice all, if u have any good tips on parma kit at all let me know, fuck i hope it works now its more off the road than on it!
