Hi all, I'm about to sell my M1L60 engine, as a Kingwelle BFA244 engine is heading to my garage... I've been runing the old 25bhp engine on all standard frame, and it is fairly ok as it is short geared, topping out around 115... The BFA will do 140+, and I'm thinking if a steering damper would be a route to go down? What are the pros and cons for steering damper? (No, I will not weld a brace between the seat and steering post, as it is an all orginal paint 90Racer) Tia! Rgrds Øyvind

140+ thats faster than my ex track TZR250 ever did.
thats going to be a hairy ride no matter what you fit other than a couple of wings
i guess you already have a strong disk and solid suspension fitted
140+ TOO FAST but nice. very nice to have in reserve

Already have the Crimaz disk and full BGM gas shocks.

Crimaz is a sound choice
Kph not mph
85 mph is a much safer and a less scary speed for both the engine and the rider
i had a water cooled in the 80's which did that type of speed. scary when riding plus it broke a few cranks so i slowed it down
the weight of the radiator helped with the handling
