Hi I've spent the last few months trying to sort out the jetting on my Quattrini 155 60 GTR only to discover it's an ignition problem causing it to cough and splutter above 7000rpm. It's a Pinasco Flytech and TBH I don't think it's been quite right since I fitted it two years ago, where's the best place to send the stator/coil to be checked out and repaired?

its generic IDM components , basically the stator could be rewound on the lt coil but would cost you 3-4 times what they are new . if you meter it the lt coil should be around 350 ohms . replacements are pretty cheap , measure the internal dia of flywheel ,from memory pinasco's are 84mm .which would be this one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232821436450 . if 79mm its this one www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372345197099 . VE uk hold the cdi units ,its the same one as the malossi ignitions .H

Thanks, henri, I've measured the stator and its 84 so ordered the first one but now noticed that it only has 3 wires, my original Pinasco stator has 4. Will it work with my existing set up or will I need to modify it in some way?

I got this working by soldering an addition blue earth wire to the stator. Lights not as bright at low rpm but ignition is now working.
