As per following Pictures rear light unit fell off .
It looks like it some long wood screws holding it in , trouble is being a bit thick I don’t know what the bits called that screws go in to like a bush type thing.
3 holes with no “ bush “ 1 with a mangled one in place.

That looks like a threaded insert. Often called rivnuts or nutserts. They are cheap the tool is about £15 to £20 on fleabay, They can be fitted using a nut with a bolt and a spanner videos on youtube
I use one to hold my seat lock pin in place

The rivnuts look better but a bit more expensive than the Grommets. Ordered the nylon grommets from link Tuesday afternoon and they arrived next day !!
