Hi Guys can you advise me on a carb size. Is a 75cc DR kit compatible with a 19/19 delorto or am I better fitting a 16/16 just looking for reliability. Thanks in advance Garry

I guess it all depends on if you are just gonna bolt the kit on or do other stuff like port matching/blending, gearing and exhaust etc.
SIP tech pages suggests the 16.16 for the DR 75cc road kit and the 19.19 for the DR 75cc F1 kit.
I'm sure the numerous engine guru's will offer better clarity....

I've an 80cc Pinasco kit on the 50N I have and I fitted a 19. Standard pipe. Runs really well.
I changed the gearing to give me a better top end and fitted a 12v fly because I hate points.

what have you got , if its a 16/10-16/12 carb on already to go to a 16/16 needs another manifold . if youve already got a 16/16 an manifold i'd stick with that .the gains from going new 19mm an manifold are far outweighed by the cost .H

I was running a 19/19 carb on my 75cc DR kit for years without a problem. I'm using the same carb on my 130 DR kit as we speak and it runs okay.

I have a very dirty old 19 mm manifold you can have for the postage But it will need a serious cleaning
