Hi all
New here, so a bit of a newby. Intro- I have owned many scooters in the past lambrettas SX and Li , vespas P200E early 80s and a few super sports. I have just bought a PK 125 automatica a import from Japan and the bug has bitten again. I need to replace the front shock first as it is shot, having a bit of trouble getting the right part. It has the eyebolt style bottom fixing point. SIP keep pushing me toward the other style attachment style, which is wrong. Any suggestions and advise appreciated frame No VAM1T
Thanks All

Thanks for that info. I think that is correct, I was getting a bit lost with it but that now makes sense. Does the 125 fork have a longer trailing arm ? I was looking a SIP XL 2 forks with disk conversion, as the rest of the scooter is mint. thanks for you help DT

What's up at the front? Does it appear to be sitting very low?
If so it may not even be a PK50 fork and they've swopped in a V range version.
Any pictures or link to where you bought it from at all? Will be easy to tell if so.

Worked on scooter today. There are a few photos of the front fork setup, can you identify what they are.

Thanks. Armed with your info yesterday I had a look at the attachment at the top of the fork, it has the cutout and bolt for the steering. On closer inspection it has had a fall on one side and some repair behind the fork in the bodywork, so that explains it all. Luckily the main body has no creases or signs of any major damage. It was a Tokyo based machine so probably low speed in traffic rear end. It still has a lot of explanatory notes written on it from its first day, all in Japanese. I lived for 10 years + (still in therapy) but it feels normal for me.
In the short term I have ordered off flea bay, a shock, original, that i quessed would fit in order to get it back on the road, luckily it turns out, it will fit. The front suspension is very divey, I see why the anti dive kits are so popular and all they do is extend the trailing arm, v clever. I assume a the new fork and reasonable shock will fix the dive issue.
Longer term a new fork, a new variator, as it is not well matched to the power output, a pipe and new flat slider carb. We see very few small frame vespas out here in the antipodian colonies. So it will be a cool project.
