Hello from Greece. My name is Panos and i have a v50. I recently bought a pk 125 fork to match to my v50. I heard that the most difficult part is the mudguard installation. Does anybody knows what to do or got any pictures from the whole process? Thanks.

Thanks that should help. I see that the suspension touches the mudguard. Did you find any solution for this?

The suspension will push the side of the mudguard outward and I've left it like that as it's only noticeable when looking front-on & leaves the scooter looking more un-modified, which I personally prefer. Others have cut out the side and welded in a 'hump' which looks quite nice.

Maybe a pk mudguard is better solution.

It's your choice, but I think they don't look good on a v-range.

If you de-seam the mudguard the offset is not so noticeable as the seam draws attention to it being off centre - you can check on the hread "Carla's ET3 - this is it!!!" and I thinkt here is a piccy on there somewhere which shows the de-seamed guard on PK forks.

I've got a PK XL2 mudguard going spare (came with the forks), yours for the cost of postage - don't all rush at once!

Thanks George if i go with this i will tell you. An other question. If I don't cut the fork and put a 25mm washer to the rear suspension to go taller isn't going to be right?

I think you're good by putting the extra spacer on the rear shock to even out the longer PK forks.

From your experience,if i stay with the v fork and put a good shock absorber is going to be better than pk fork with standard shock? My main problem is when i hit a bump. I lose the front wheel. Now i have rms absorber but it's rough when rebounding even at the softest position.

The PK fork design is far better than the v-range, even with a good shock on v-range I don't think you'll get as good as PK. The increased performance with braking is quite amazing.

And what about bumps and patholes? My real problem is this.

Now i noticed that my shock absorber,v50 fork, moves a little with the hand if you push it left or right. Its tight but i think there is a gap between the shock and the brake base plate which allows the movement. Is that normal?
