hi i'm wanting some advice on building a falc engine i want to go for the long stroke 152 version i'm thinking of using the full falc kit-crank,clutch,exhaust etc... fast road set up
my questions are... what engine case v90 or pk? what gearbox? what gear kit? want to run carb inside frame,do i have to cut frame? what carb? who to use for machining crankcase?

Its competion time ...... Ive used pk50xl casing for mine ,,what frame are you using ? 4 speed box with close ratio 4th im changing my gearing to 27/69 For the road 30mm vhsh flatslide Jerome at reedspeed did the machining and set it up for ...Knows his stuff and very helpfull... Hope this helps ...

50 xl case sounds good can i use 50xl g/box [with up gear]? can i fit v series hub/back plate?

Tbh, if you're using the pk gear box, I would fit the pk hub and back plate. The drive shaft has a 24mm thread, as the v series has a 22mm. I tried to fit a v series hub and back plate on the pk shaft and it was rubbing like mad. Fitted pk ones and it was perfect. ;D Other people might have different suggestions though, so wait a while and see what happens.

not to draw away the attention from the matter in hand, but i would be really interested to know about if there is any way to put a v range hub onto a pk. i will keep a look out and see. thanks

v range back plates and pk back plates are slightly different .... ....Youll find that v range hub fits pk back plate, but vice versa wont ....youll find hub rubs back plate....Thats what i found ....hope this helps ...

(I think its poss the prim shoes are smaller than pk anyone confirm this- its been ages since i done it.)
