Staggered transfers? Or is the picture fooling me.
Also looks like lubrication dimples below the transfer bridges

Very nice looking barrel, looking forward to this build. You'll need a serious amount of coolant in that rad. You might find it runs too cool.

I spoke to various Italians about what rads to use with this kit and they are using the same. .was either this or these.
Above is same setup as mine Got to keep barrel cooled to around 60-65°.

when i did my watercooled one in the 80`s i used a stat from a fiat rad (on cars these are used to turn the fan on and off when the car is sitting still) fixed to the barrel to switch the pump on and off the stat was set at 92 and mounted in a threaded hole (22x1mm thread) directly above the exhaust port

i think i'd be tempted to leave body as is ,weld up the rust an not paint ,call it the "old nail" , let the big shiny rad n carb/filter do the talkin with no snazzy paint job to distract ya , H

just noticed on one of your pics that the mudguard looks like it`s rubbing the frame. is the mudguard damaged or the frame bent forward or is it just a trick of the light ?
