I see there is a motorcycle engined scooter class but no geared scooter engined non scooter frame class? Last time there, I was put in said class and was up against a 400cc Lambretta with no chance of winning anything

Was a good weekend as usual, sunday was much busier than the saturday but not a lot of smallys taking on tje challenge. Few extra groups this uear for road legal scoots, specials, and non mot'd/insured street legals. Biggest group of smallys was the street legal geared up to 190 which had glen h, paul w, and myself in it. Glen was leading all weekend with me chasing his times by 1mph here and 2 there before his electrics started playing up... i thrn raised my needle a fraction and managed to pip him in all groups managing to take the win overall for that group.
Mr murray won the specials, with iain not far behind before melting his exhaust port and retiring early.. Not sure what happened to paul as he somehow ended up in a different group on his own... Great weekend though, bring on next year.

Well done Shane had me arse spanked wish I could have done the Sunday I think it would have been a great battle like Saturday just 2 runs and bollox, bloody Parma electrics . Looks like the Sunday times all improved. Not sure what class Paul was in either. Great weekend though and good meeting you. Ow and buy a higher roofed car for next year.

I agree mate, i really enjoyed chasing your times on saturday and sunday was good racing against myself but a bit of competition may have pushed me to go for piston like iains... saying that, checked waynes calculator and i was on the limit of the gearing with what i ended up on 9574 = 84mph so any more would have been in the red... i remember looking up a smidge as i crossed the line to see 9600 on the rev counter so goes to show how good the calculator is.

Well done to everyone who took part, you just kept improving Shane good to watch and you were flying Sunday ;-) Its the same 60mm piston as used on an Aprilia big bore kit, check out ebay or some bike shops to see if you can pick one up cheaper.
