Having not had any 50's cars for a few years, and missing them, I always watch E-bay for something that appeals, Consul's, Zephyr's and Zodiacs I love, but prices are going through the roof Can't really afford to run a yank, and parking would be an issue in town and home, Then last week I was doing my usual searches, and found something that ticked all the box's, 50's, old and tatty in a rat rod style, How could I resist And it is staying just as it is, apart from some non structural welding . In the light of this purchase I am also offloading some scooters, a bike and car I don't need on Ebay, that way I dont feel so bad about a new toy

hahaha any think for free tax and no mot looks ok that mate keep you busy for a while, Free tax is always a bonus, I still don't agree with MOT exempt, but I can live with it It is all on the road and running sweet, and I know its hard to beleive, but it hasn't been washed since 1987

I'm dragging this from the recesses of my mind but is that a Vauxhall Wyvern?
My family were mainly of the Ford camp so I know those but not really upto speed on the other brands other than Triumph where there was the odd visit.

Bang on the mark Juan, '53 Wyvern. I was always a Ford person, but rising prices have pushed them away from me. Saw this, it has the looks I wanted, and the price was quite reasonable, So much fun to be behind the wheel of another 50's saloon, like a yank, but smaller and cheaper
