Stripped and cleaned the carb and it still won't start, gonna cable it up and try and bump it later. Anything else to check before I start looking at timing?

Still not starting however just had a backfire on it so deffo an electrical problem. Will there be timing marks on the stator and mag housing (like on a t5) or do I need to get the timing disk out?

I gave up with the femsa electrics on my Spanish Primmy, 12volt electronic all the way!
Looks like a nice scoot though and hope you get it started
Oh, I just remembered something with mine...... the loose headlight wires in the headset, mine backfired if they were loose, there's one you either need to earth or not earth I can't remember which way round or which one but it might be worth trying!
