I see there is a big thread on repairing the groove in the legshield - but I get the impression that most of us hate the thought of fitting the original alu trim. Personally I dislike huge chrome tubes, rubber trims of various colours etc... I have the tool and I think it's easy to use, and the result is - I believe - amazing. Here are a few pictures. Perhaps the price of the original tool is off-putting. I would be happy to lend it - perhaps one could pay a deposit + postage cost on paypal, and then as soon as it returns to me (it's a 45 minutes job!) I refund all minus the postage? Any suggestions?

If it'll do a PX too I'm definitely up for it in a few weeks (no paint n it yet)
Cracking idea.
