Thought I would post this up. Just got my stage 6 shock rebuilt by Duepercento in Italy. Tomas does the work on these shocks with some upgraded internals and his own modifications. His approach you would have seen in the "trip to Italy" thread some time ago and possibly a feature by sticky is soon to be published. He made me take all sorts of weights and measurements before this build and now the damper is designed for me and my bike specifically. Must get a rear stage 6 at some point! Turnaround was less than 2 weeks including post. Excellent service. They can rebuild almost any shock including the rs24 Grazie Mille Matteo e Tomas. Sono molto soddisfatto.

Nice. How much is the turnaround Tony ? Could Tomas modify an rs24 for the better ?

For sure I feel he could improve the rs24. For our racing shaggy the front was too soft although the stiffer spring helps and the rear always seems to run out of damping.. That's why I changed mine. Great for road and to start with mind. Cost wise it's best to contact Duepercento and also ask their advice on the above.
