So a few months ago there was word of this and this month our good friends at Scootering posted a great photo of it and gave a couple words, it looks like what some of us came up with years ago , i know one of the VSF members in Canada had also made some but i think his only worked on a XL2 ...
well i am going to try one just sent an email to Pinasco so lets see how fast they have them done...
Anyway what do think of it?

oh yeah I don't really like those types of coil springs but I guess I need to feel them in hand to really form an opinion...

I think it is for Dayn to say but I'll go ahead and say it anyway. I'm sure that the idea, design and development were down to Dayn and as far as I am aware, the commercialisation took place without prior knowledge or consent I may be wrong on that, I quite often am No Idea how well the Pinasco rip off version functions but Dayn's widget which actually features 14 springs and one less machined aluminium part functions extremely well in my scoot. I run it with original thick steels and three surflex cork plates. Zero drag, zero slip, lovely feel at the lever even with a standard clutch cover. I think for a mildly tuned motor such as mine, it is the ideal clutch solution in terms of performance and ability to work with commonplace & cheap clutch parts. Dayn's not Pinasco's that is

Come on now, just read Pinasco's website. I clearly says that they've been working on this little marvel for some years already. I'm pretty sure they started before the internet became so popular. Honestly some of the things which came out recently are pretty embarassing in terms of originality.

All I know is the couple I have made are still working today, and I did it for a couple girls that were using two hands but to squeeze the clutch and the goal was to get 7-10 pounds of pressure at least that what this spring gauge was reading...
I don't really like all the parts of it , springs and a collar is really app it needs but then you news to modify the base of the clutch to hold the springs
