As you can see I've posted 3 subjects now because I now nothing about smallframes so bear with me and my questions. What disc brake can be fitted to a set of v100 forks. Well I think there v100 they have 4 studs or bolts I can't remember that secure the hub in place

Are the fork pins interchangeable between models?

I fitted the TSR brake, fits in about an hour, in fact I did the whole job, including threading the hose up the forks, modifying the headset, fitting the scootrs master cylinder & bleeding the system in a morning. Anti dive works treat, no mucking about with PK forks, which I think are too long in the first place

I think it's the same thing, but without the anti dive, do you like it

dose this Vietnam stuff go through any sort of official testing? i have ordered quite a bit of stiff from rs/tsr and never been impressed with build quality so much so i wont bother ordering again.i really haven't got the faith in them to buy something capable of ruining my face ..............no matter how ugly to start off with ......... unless it has some sort off official document saying i can go racing/stunt driving ;D

The quality on the machining is good & it has an SKF bearing. If you're anywhere near Leeds Chiselspeed have one in stock to look at

If you're anywhere near Leeds Chiselspeed have one in stock to look at i don't mean to sound pedantic but having a look wouldn't satisfy me i can say from the pick that it looks cool and made with some degree of quality in mind its just i favor the German TUV approach or at least put more trust into a more reputable company.these kits are fairly new to smallframe vespa made buy people who would think nothing of using coke cans to make shims a few years back

I know what you mean. I've seen some of the so called restorations! At least with Saigon you have the L Malaguti connection - not that they were the best scooters in the world

Love the coke can shim reference its up there with the old guys in America that all had a Cushman but in reality there was only one Cushman scooter passed around all of America...
I have seen two of these done by others and I have done one its a nice kit bit much in price for what it is but it is perfect CNC work I have taken it apart to copy to make one of my own versions...
I dig it but wish I had a few other options out there...

That tsr set up looks pretty good im definatly intrested in that i agree it would in my mind be beter to use original forks so wheel alignment and height remain the same . alawson68 could you post a link for the supplier of this and does this also fit primmy type hub. Thanks

Works really well & the anti dive is an added bonus, gives it the braking of a modern scooter. Would recommend it.
