Bought tuning vespas by norrie Kerr from scooter products and I have to say for someone that knows nothing about tuning it's a really good beginners guide. Reccomendation it to anyone who's new to tuning

I agree it's a good book for tuning, but I think some of it's a bit vague. It's great in theory, but there's not much in the "how to" section. Try Graham Bell's book. It's about the same age as Kerr's, but has a bit more procedures that can be followed.

Just been told as soon as I mentioned that book that I should buy it. I'll have a read and see how it compares or doesn't to norrie Kerrs book. Cheers for the advise vinrouge

Norrie's is a beginner guide... its really useful for the gearing but a little out of date now due to the vast amount of gears available.
The 'bell' book is good. However it doesnt explain everything... and its also aimed at motorcycle tuning and so port timings and blow down periods are not quite as much applicable to our 4 geared scoots as we would like. I read this book and its update which includes mapping cover to cover... i would say read it.
