for balls out its gotta be the falc, you wont touch it for power unless you really know what your doing with an m1l. but it's almost inaccessably expensive by the time you've bought all the goodies ... m1l i reckon is probably the best for a very fast road thrash with a short life that could be turned into a race beast if wanted, the parma seems best for a fast road thrash with slightly longer life (apparantly big tuning potentail though)....
but then again i know bugger all.. but thats my tuppence worth anyhow...

i'm probably not the best person to ask (tony??) but smallframes have notoriously fragile gearboxes. a standard v90 is, i think, 3.1hp... some of the falc kits are aledged to be 28+hp, which is 900% on a standard v90!!! mental! also reving alot higher than standard.. needless to say, things that are designed to handle 3.1hp don't last long with over 20... i'd say if you can get a clutch to last and it never jumps out of gear it might ok for a few miles....

Am i right in guessing that because all 3 are reed valve straight on the barrel kits. i would not have to do a big porting job on the casings??

Na im gona go reverse barrel either way, and id realy like a cylinder intake kits. I was just thinking that with a cylinder induction, il get lubrication to the fly bearings anyway even if i did,nt port the casings???

can you get more power out of a barrel or casing inlet? i know its not the original question on this post but also can you still be full bodied with a reed valve?

hi mate. I agree with Ozzy. Falc would be my choice (i got one being tuned/developed by Charlie for the track) Its a lovely thing. I've just built an M1LR thats being dynod and finished this week and will be out at Oulton on saturday. This is not tuned yet but just transfer match-it took me half hour-so very easy) Out of the two (and these are the big daddies at the mo) the falc would be my choice. But you really need to get it all imo to make it work. Likewise with the quattrini, gotta get it all. But its cheaper indeed. The MILR reed doesnt direct feed the ducts but its a very nicely made 125. The motor needs machining one side for the m1.. both sides in two dimensions for the falc. Falc requires spigot machine too. Falc clutch is superb and has had no problems on the dyno at least... the quattrini... its an improvement on the old design..but having a few probs with it at mo. And as to your other question, there is no doubt in my mind that these reed kits can produce more power than a rotary. Rotaries are restricted unless you are prepared to do some major work and the crank design is not ideal with its cut away web.
